Emissions of solid pollutants
Strnad, Ondřej ; Lisá, Hana (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The thesis deals with issue and properties of solid particles of anthropogenic origin. It describes the principles and technologies for removing them from the flue gas flow and avoid-ing leakage into the atmosphere. It focuses on types of separators, especially mechanical sepa-rators. The work includes an experimental part involving obtaining data characterizing the cyclone separator.
Cyclone trap for very small particles
Pažourek, Josef ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with really small cyclone separators which could be used for a flue gas purification. The search section discusses particle formation in combustion, their characteristics, any other flue gas cleaning options and last but not least, a cyclone separator where is the effort to understand all the influences that contribute to a cyclone’s resulting separability. The Experimental section analyses a calculation of the cyclone and theoretical separability, a verification of this separability using a cyclone created by a 3D printer. On the one hand, the verification was made by gravimetric analysis which is intended for a bigger particles, on the second hand, it was made using the PALAS which is aimed at particles in µm. There is also a comparison of theoretical and measured values in this section.
Technology sputtering of flue-gas
Hladík, Petr ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Hrnčířová, Michaela (advisor)
The object of this bachelor’s thesis is to create a research in field of flue gas scrubbing technology. In the first part, there are briefly outlined issues of size and shape of particles present in flue gas after combustion. Next part focuses on basic general characteristics of separators. Main part treats of individual types of separators. Following chapters deal with emission limits in Czech Republic and future development of the field. Thesis is concluded by sample calculation of the cyclone separator.
Samples of examples for configurable gate array
Bajer, Jan ; Spáčil, Tomáš (referee) ; Bastl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis introduces the issue of configurable gate arrays and their position with respect to microprocessor technology. The aim is to present work with gate arrays on a set of basic realizations within the field of mechatronics. The examples are processed using VHDL and they are primarily intended for Altera / Intel devices.
Flue gas cleaning in units for thermal processing of biomass
Ferdan, Tomáš ; Dvořák, Radek (referee) ; Kropáč, Jiří (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with thermal treatment of biomass and with reduction of emission, which originate during this process. First part speaks commonly about biomass incineration and about technologies for emission reduction, especially cyclones. Practical part of this paper involves description of multicyclone evaluation by different authors and the comparison on of the evaluation on a case study of concrete multicyclone.
Analysis of proces fluid pretreatment for heat exchange purpose
Navrátil, Ondřej ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is devoted purification of a gas stream with solid and liquid particles. The problem described in the thesis is connected with a real industrial case – problem of operated waste gas incineration plant. Waste gas going to thermal incineration to flame of natural gas combustion contains solid and liquid particles. Presence of particles causes fouling of waste gas preheater. The main objective of thesis is analysis of situation and operating and space limitations and design of a suitable type of particle collector to reliable elimination of particles from waste gas before entering the gas preheater and thus to mitigation of fouling of preheater heat transfer area.
Separation of solid particles from biomass burning
Štěpánek, Petr ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with aspects of the dust particles which occur in gaseous products from biomass combustion. The thesis introduces technologies by which solid particles capture from a combustion flow can be implemented. Principles and technical means of dust particles separation in mechanical separators are put in focus primarily. The thesis is concluded with a technical design of a cyclone separator.
